Update to FOSS, Free and Open Source Software, including to linux-6.14.5 (was 6.9.9), with re-factoring of the RAID code, which mostly still works as well as before. However RAID10 (mirror plus stripe) variant 'far' will sometimes hit corruption in one or more sectors if one of the drives is in a failed state, and so is not recommended. RAID10 variants 'near' and 'offset' have not had that problem. |
